Here at Love of Christ Church every child is special, a testimony of the hand of our Lord and Maker. Our leaders are excited and honored to be a part of what God is doing amongst the children. They desire to help children know God's love and His truths.
From infants through children in fifth grade, there is something for each one on Sunday mornings. Our program offers both small- and large-group settings where children experience God. We start with worship and a high-energy video in a large-group setting called "Power Up." After that, children move to a small-group setting where they can participate in fun activities and a relevant Bible lesson.
What do children learn?
Children
ages 0-5 (prekindergarten) explore who God is and
understand the following:
- God made me
- God loves me
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever
Children in kindergarten through fifth grade learn a new character trait each month such as responsibility, honesty, contentment, trust, etc. and the importance of each one. At this age, we want them to know and understand the following:
- I need to make the wise choice
- I can trust God no matter what
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated
From
September to the beginning of May, Wednesday night offers another
program for children ages 3 through fifth grade; children
ages 0-2 will find comfort and love in our nursery.

LOCK Check-In
Each week parents check their children in at the LOCC Kids' Check-In Desk to receive a name tag and check-in slip before dropping their child off at the age-appropriate room. Parents must hand in the check-in slip to pick up their child.
